Mid Century Brass and Copper Parrot Bird Sculpture Attributed to Sergio Bustamante

A spectacular large vintage parrot sculpture perched atop a loop stand, attributed to Mexican artist and sculptor, Sergio Bustamante. Composed of intricately arranged panels of brass and copper with wonderful life-like charm and character. Circa 1960/70's.

Condition: There are some signs of wear and patina/tarnish conducive with age. The back of the tail has a small dent as shown.

Dimensions: hoop measures 16.5” diameter. Parrot measures 26” tall x 6.5”w x 9”depth. Full height from top of hoop to base of tail is 35.5”.
